While we are changing our name, our core values will never change and our commitment to being a relentless provider of HIV care and treatment will always be the same. • A bill to cleanly renew the premium tax credits just passed the House of Representatives with bipartisan support. If it passes the Senate and is signed into law it would bring relief to millions of struggling families and protect access to lifesaving care. Help us keep up the pressure and pass this bill. Tell your Senators to vote YES on a clean renewal of the enhanced premium tax credits. Quickly and easily message your officials, and remember to share with your friends: https://lnkd.in/gTpHYJAy

  • "In the decade that Arvan has served on the board of Vivent Health, the organization, previously known as St. Louis Effort for AIDS, has grown from a small, local HIV prevention and education organization into a comprehensive HIV medical home in 17 cities across six states. By treating the whole person, Vivent Health provides an inclusive environment in which people living with and at risk for HIV truly thrive."

  • Stigma and fear can make conversations about HIV seem intimidating, but learning about HIV is empowering! When a person living with HIV takes their medication as prescribed, they can achieve an "undetectable" status which then means they cannot transmit HIV to sexual partners. This can also mean that they live a healthy life without the symptoms of HIV. To learn more, visit ViventHealth.org

  • On this day in 1984, Ryan White was diagnosed with AIDS. At just 13 years old, his journey would change the way the world viewed HIV and the fight against AIDS. His courage in the face of stigma remains an inspiration. The Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act of 1990 had a transformative impact on the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States. Named in honor of Ryan White, the CARE Act was the first federal law to provide comprehensive, targeted funding for HIV/AIDS care and services.
