  • Our People Who Drive Us series continues with a spotlight on Everett Collins, whose technical expertise and calm, methodical approach have become essential to our Chattanooga Engineering team, and it’s his ability to navigate complexity that sets him apart. As our organization began implementing new systems, Everett was the first to step forward and lead. He dove into unfamiliar components, learned how they worked, and ultimately became the first to bring the new systems online, a milestone that required persistence, deep problem‑solving, and the ability to make sense of ambiguity. Across the Engineering team, Everett is known as the go-to person when all other options have been exhausted. In an environment defined by evolving vehicle software systems, he consistently “figures it out.” It’s clear that one of the most rewarding parts of Everett’s work is keeping our vehicles running at their top performance. His approach reflects his commitment to handling complexity by breaking down challenges, staying patient, asking the right questions, and using every opportunity to learn. Everett also brings others along. He maintains a positive environment by supporting his teammates, explaining the steps he takes, spreading knowledge and strengthening the team’s collective capability. Everett’s work reminds us that handling complexity is about solving problems by staying curious, sharing what you learn, and helping the entire team move forward with confidence. We’re proud to celebrate Everett as one of the people who drive us.

  • At Volkswagen, we prioritize giving back to the community that fuels us. In March and April, team members in Reston volunteered at a two-part event with Junior Achievement USA in Fairfax County. During the sessions, they helped introduce middle school students to the fundamentals of financial literacy, sharing practical tips and tools, and guiding them through a hands-on budget simulator experience. A special thank you to our partners at Volkswagen Financial Services | U.S.!

  • Our Volkswagen Legal team recently led a college basketball tournament-themed effort to support Food for Others, a nonprofit food bank and food rescue organization serving Northern Virginia. Together, employees in the Reston office collected 655 pounds of food and loaded it into an ID. Buzz to deliver directly to Food for Others’ headquarters. Thank you to everyone who contributed enough to fill the pantries of approximately 22 households.

  • Our People Who Drive Us series continues with a spotlight on someone whose impact has shaped our headquarters for more than four decades: Stan Fuller, Mailroom Associate at Volkswagen Group of America. Stan joined the company in 1983 and has since become one of the most trusted and steady presences across our organization. While his tenure is impressive, what sets Stan apart is the professionalism, reliability, and pride he brings to every interaction. While ensuring critical packages arrive on time, coordinating hundreds of deliveries with precision, and greeting colleagues with his signature helpfulness, Stan approaches each task with purpose and care. His extensive experience means he’s often the first person colleagues turn to with questions about shipping or mail. Stan sees those moments as opportunities to support others by offering solutions, guidance, and reassurance. Stan embodies our belief in the strength of performing together in the most authentic way by creating a positive, dependable experience for everyone he interacts with. He understands that teamwork means consistently showing up for one another, treating every colleague with respect, and making daily interactions smoother and more enjoyable. Stan’s dedication reminds us that excellence is often built through small, meaningful actions repeated over many years. We’re proud to celebrate him as one of the people who truly drive us.

  • At Volkswagen, we celebrated Earth Month across our communities.   In Chattanooga, 46 schools applied engineering problem-solving skills at the Chattanooga Green Prix, a student-led EV competition organized in collaboration with green|spaces. Every team started with the same kit of parts and raced to the finish line with a car they designed, built, and tested over the course of the semester.   In Reston, employees across different teams spent the day giving well-loved books a second life, engaging with their community while promoting a culture of reuse.    Events like these are a meaningful way for Volkswagen to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to workforce engagement, STEM education, and a more sustainable future, while continuing to strengthen connections within our communities.

  • One million strong and counting. We’ve officially assembled one million Atlas family vehicles at our plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Since day one, Atlas has been designed for life in America—from road trips and school drop‑offs to weekend adventures. This milestone belongs to the dedicated team who build every Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport to the families who’ve made it part of their everyday lives. Here’s to the first million, and to what’s next, with the all‑new 2027 Atlas arriving this fall. https://lnkd.in/eQBp-vcW

  • At our Chattanooga solar farm, a flock of sheep and their guardian donkey keep the grass low and the soil healthy, while the panels above provide shade throughout the Tennessee summer. Since 2021, we have reached 100% of our electricity usage generated from renewable sources, and reduced our CO₂ footprint by more than 66%. Our wetlands now span 88+ acres and support 15 endangered species and 195 bird species. In collaboration with WaterWays, our wetland and outdoor classroom host Hamilton County students for outdoor experiential learning classes alongside VW volunteers. Happy #EarthMonth from Chattanooga. 🌎
