Village Super Market and the Sumas family cut the ribbon on their renovated ShopRite of Livingston Monday, unveiling a fresh, modern shopping experience with expanded departments and enhanced prepared offerings for the community. The renovation builds on last fall’s introduction of a fully expanded kosher market, creating a more comprehensive, one-stop kosher shopping destination for customers. As part of the celebration Monday, store leadership also presented a $5,000 donation to the West Essex YMCA. Wakefern members invest in their stores and give back to their neighbors and community!

The concern is that the proposed New Jersey bill misguidedly lumps together shopper‑friendly tools with problematic practices like surveillance or dynamic pricing — approaches we do not use. Loyalty programs, personalized coupons and promotions are designed to help customers save, not manipulate prices.
