The sold-out event convened healthcare providers and community partners to strengthen HIV and STI prevention efforts throughout the region. Last Thursday, WellSpace Health celebrated the graduation of Cohort 7 of the Care Engagement Internship, a partnership with California State University-Sacramento's Public Health Program. Interns presented the findings from their final projects, highlighting work in well-child visit scheduling, mammogram outreach, cervical cancer screening, and Wellness Ambassador initiatives, along with reflections on their overall internship experience. Their work made a meaningful impact: • 1,703 patient call attempts • 669 patients reached • 382 appointments booked • 34 wellness ambassador actions completed We extend our gratitude to Dr. Aleta Baldwin and Dr. Charl Mattheus for attending, as well as our staff who supported these students throughout their experience.
