Makers Day at Infosys, Bangalore, was not just about tools. It was about how we imagine, create, and craft in a world that no longer waits for perfect starts. The day opened with reflections from Yogesh Kulkarni, Joydeep Mukherjee, and Meghna Kumar, who grounded the conversation in a powerful shift: AI has fundamentally changed the rhythm of making. The question is no longer just *what* teams can build, but how intentionally, collaboratively, and responsibly they can build it. The leadership panel featuring Bindya S Raj, Anuj Rathi, Srinath Rangamani, Manesh Sadasivan, and Meghna Kumar explored how organizations are moving from execution to orchestration, and from siloed roles towards collective ownership. One insight stayed constant throughout: speed alone is not progress. Faster creation only matters when teams are building the right things together. Samantha Lee and Mark Lee’s session on prototyping with Figma reframed AI as a teammate rather than a shortcut. The conversations around prompts, reusable systems, and “start anywhere, go everywhere” workflows showed how design and code are increasingly converging into one continuous creative process. Yanwen Wang brought an equally important counterpoint: while AI accelerates creation, design thinking remains the differentiator. Human judgment, context, and divergent thinking are still what transform outputs into meaningful products. The sessions by Kumaran (KP), Rahul Sasidharan, and joms jose focused on collective making at scale, emphasizing shared systems, collaboration between design and engineering, and the importance of maintaining differentiation in an AI-first world. Diogo Ilheu’s exploration of AI-powered media generation offered a glimpse into how workflows themselves are rapidly evolving. What tied the entire day together was this: making is no longer individual. Design, engineering, product, and AI are moving closer together than ever before, shaping ideas collaboratively, earlier, and with deeper collective ownership. We left energized, reflective, and convinced: the future of making isn’t just faster. It’s more intentional, more connected, and still deeply human. For more than two decades, we’ve worked with top-tier production partners to create Seattle International Film Festival’s annual trailer, but this year we took the challenge of doing everything ourselves – writing, producing, directing and editing it entirely in-house. We even featured WongDoody staff as the supporting actors surrounding the trailer’s lead, and the results were quite follicle-erecting. It took contributions from so many different people to pull this off, a prime example of our culture of creative collaboration. Optimal Cinelation Achieved. Okay… this would make shopping way more fun? Imagine having a friendly little shopping cart by your side — following you through the store while you shop. Honestly, we’d take that immediately. That’s the playful little “what if?” we explored in this Instagram video series for our client dm-drogerie markt Deutschland: a shopping cart that moves through the store on its own and turns a super everyday situation into something unexpectedly fun. Created using CGI, the film takes a familiar shopping moment and gives it a charming little twist. Not in a super serious sci-fi way — but in a light, slightly humorous way that makes you instantly think: this would actually be pretty nice! That’s what we enjoy so much about creating these immersive experiences. They make future ideas feel approachable and playful — instead of distant or overly futuristic. And that’s when we realised: the best social content comes from the simplest ideas — the ones that make people smile first and think second. Big thanks to dm-drogerie markt Deutschland for exploring these fun alternate realities with us 🛒💙

Everyone’s investing in AI. Too many teams are still stuck making it work. At the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit (UK) on 27 April, our CSO, Ralf Gehrig, will join Mark Strande, Chief Information Security Officer at Miro, for a fireside chat on what it really takes to turn AI ambition into business acceleration. The session will explore: 🔵 What separates teams that break through from those that stall 🔵 How AI transformation becomes a company‑wide driver of value, not just an IT initiative 🔵The mindset shifts and practical steps that make adoption stick Ralf will also share perspectives from WongDoody’s AI transformation journey, and why sustainable impact comes from uniting teams, tools, and collaborative AI workflows into shared ways of working. If you’re attending Gartner DWS, join us for the conversation. Link in comments. #GartnerDWS #AITransformation #DigitalWorkplace #BusinessAcceleration

Before they were keeping studios running, calendars aligned, and teams moving forward, they already had that certain sparkle! ✨💛 Today, on Administrative Professionals Day, we're celebrating the office managers and administrative professionals who keep WongDoody ticking every single day—with quiet brilliance and far too little recognition. Across our studios, these are the steady hands, sharp minds, calm problem-solvers, and culture carriers behind so much of what we do. They bring care, coordination, and put the human in the human experiences we create together. Today is your day! To everyone in the pics below and all the rest of our admin team across the globe: a massive thank you! For your organization, your patience, your ability to juggle so many topics while connecting people, and the countless details you hold so others can do their best work. We see you. And we appreciate you. Today, and always! 👏❤️🔥 #ThankYou #AdministrativeProfessionalsDay #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork Steph Laws, Victoria Strike, Ivan Moschioni, Aileen Dewitz, Jenise Cannady, Jelena Banovic Cicovic, Tamara Petrovic
