Xometry is proud to be joining Istari Digital’s Industry Øne program, an initiative backed by the Department of the Air Force, that will help break down the digital barriers slowing the Defense Industrial Base. Our role: serve as the Digital-to-physical gateway, translating engineering data into real, manufacturable parts at scale. Alongside companies including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, GE Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and RTX, we're helping build the infrastructure that defense programs need to move at digital speeds.
Today we're announcing Industry Øne, a program with the United States Air Force DTO: DAF Digital Transformation Office that connects live engineering data across the Defense Industrial Base without centralizing it. The problem: thousands of suppliers operate incompatible tools behind separate firewalls. Personnel can email information across IT boundaries but can't automate workflows securely, compliantly, and auditably while protecting IP. Industry Øne changes this. Fifteen organizations. No shared repository. No surrendered IP.
