This year’s theme, Unidos, Somos Más (Together, We Are More), centers the strength that comes from community and the many cultures, languages, and traditions that make up Hispanic and Latin culture. We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a hands-on empanada experience, a visit from Hayward High engineering students, and a coffee tour and tasting featuring coffee sourced from Hispanic and Latin growers and roasters. These moments were all about connection and belonging. We are excited to welcome back Barrie Dickinson as a Robot Line Director. Barrie brings over two decades of vehicle engineering leadership, starting his career at Jaguar before moving to Lotus and then Tesla, where he was the company's 12th hire and later became Roadster Chief Engineer. From there, he spent time at GoPro and Byton, plus four years at Zoox. Most recently, Barrie spent four years heading up the vehicle engineering team at Lightship. As Zoox moves toward commercialization, Barrie will play a key role on our Vehicle Development team. Welcome back, Barrie!
