Job seekers will apply to your job with LinkedIn or an external website, depending on what option you selected under How would you like people to apply when posting your job. The application flow will work one of two ways:

The applicant can click Apply to begin the application process if you opted to let candidates apply with their LinkedIn profile. The applicant will be prompted to enter their email address and phone number, as well as upload a resume (optional). The application is collected in Recruiter and a notice is sent to the email address you specified during the posting process.

The applicant can click Apply on company website if you opted to direct applicants to an external site to apply. The applicant will then be led to the URL you entered in the Direct applicants to an external site to apply field.
Important to know
If applicants are taken to your Applicant Tracking System or to an external website to apply, LinkedIn doesn't keep a record of who applied for your jobs. You'll be unable to track applicants through Recruiter or view the number of applicants in your Job Analytics.
