The Opportunity:

The Account Executive, Niche brands is a dynamic leader driving sales performance and brand growth across key retail partners. This role is pivotal in achieving and surpassing seasonal sales plans while embodying the avant-garde luxury and creative vision of multiple brands. The ideal candidate is a versatile relationship builder who can switch between different brand DNAs. You will serve as an inspiring brand ambassador who fosters deep connections with internal teams, store leadership, and retail employees. With a passion for artistry, craftsmanship, and innovation, the Account Executive leverages their business acumen to elevate the presence of the entire Niche portfolio in the market.


What You’ll Get to Do:


Sales and Education

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for the niche portfolio, consistently exceeding financial and sell-through objectives across all assigned brands.
  • Drive performance by aligning sales goals, marketing activations, and merchandising strategies with the unique vision of each specific brand.
  • Leverage consumer insights and sales data to identify cross-selling opportunities between brands and optimize retail execution.
  • Conduct weekly business analyses to track sales trends across the portfolio and proactively implement action plans to mitigate risk.
  • Plan and negotiate impactful in-store events, activations, and promotions that enhance consumer engagement for specific launches or multi-brand focuses.
  • Manage and optimize corporate budgets while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Lead training initiatives in collaboration with the education team to elevate brand knowledge, ensuring staff can fluently speak to the distinct heritage and olfactory notes of each brand.
  • Partner with the Field Sales Team to assess the needs of retail partners and their teams, ensuring seamless brand execution
  • Coach and mentor Beauty Advisors, Client Advisors, Fragrance Experts, on selling behaviors and product knowledge, fostering a culture of creativity and passion for the niche category.
  • Embody the ethos of Puig through professionalism, authenticity, and innovation
  • Ensure brand storytelling is effectively communicated through one-on-one coaching and immersive experiences


Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with retailers, brand ambassadors, fragrance specialists, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key business partner to store leadership, collaborating on sales strategies, business opportunities, and brand initiatives.
  • Partner with the Visual Merchandising and Store Design team to create impactful in-store displays aligned with each brand’s visual identity
  • Ensure visual merchandising consistently reflects brand identity and adheres to corporate guidelines
  • Support the on-floor sales coaching of in-store teams to drive performance.


We’d Love to Meet You If You Have:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in beauty, fragrance, or luxury retail, preferably managing multiple brands or a complex portfolio.
  • Proven success in building relationships with key retailers and luxury consumers
  • Deep experience in fragrance and beauty, with a genuine appreciation for artistry, craftsmanship, and the niche landscape.
  • A track record of exceeding sales performance goals and executing impactful brand activations
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and training skills to inspire in-store teams
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high attention to detail
  • A passion for storytelling, creativity, and experiential retail
  • High emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel within the region with a valid driver’s license


Compensation:

As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
