Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Sr Project Engineer to join our team in Tempe, AZ. The successful candidate will support the Project Management team in various industrial construction projects, including those for major clients such as Intel and data centers.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support lead Project Managers and site Superintendents with all phases of assigned construction projects.
• Demonstrate working knowledge and application of project plans, specifications, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
• Cultivate relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate and collaborate with preconstruction efforts and project teams.
• Maintain regular communication with team members, owners, architects, and engineers to ensure a complete understanding of the project scope.
• Research and analyze historical project data for application to current projects.
  
  

Essential Skills

• 2-4 years of experience as a commercial Assistant Project Manager or Sr Project Engineer focusing on architectural or self-perform work.
• Experience supporting large-scale industrial projects such as those in data centers and semiconductor industries.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction law and accepted business practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and relevant web applications; experience with Viewpoint, Bluebeam, WinEst, and On-Screen Takeoff is preferred.
• Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline preferred.
• Experience supporting end clients like Intel, TSMC, or Google is a plus.
  
  

Work Environment

The role operates during normal business hours, with a maximum of 45-50 hours per week. The position is based out of the Tempe office, supporting various projects. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
