The Role

This position will play a key role in supporting a broad range of legal initiatives across commercial, product, and regulatory matters, including:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements
• Advising internal stakeholders on product, compliance, and regulatory matters
• Supporting legal operations for a fast-moving technology business
• Partnering cross-functionally with commercial, product, and executive teams
• Helping build scalable legal infrastructure as the company continues its rapid growth

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Experience:

• 1-3 years post-JD legal experience and consistency in their current role.

Strong background in:

• Commercial contracts
• Tech transactions
• Product counseling
• Regulatory advisory
• Corporate / M&A / ECVC with relevant regulatory exposure

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active U.S. state admission in good standing

Core Skills:

• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation capabilities
• Strong redlining and contract management experience
• Commercially minded and business-oriented
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance legal workflows
• Highly motivated, accountable, and growth-oriented

Location

• Austin, Texas
• Those who are willing to be in the office more often than not are preferred.

Compensation

• Base salary: $130,000 - $180,000
• Meaningful equity package
