Position Summary
Our company is seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company through its next phase of exponential growth. The CEO will be the chief strategist and driving force behind our mission, responsible for providing inspired leadership, executing the company’s strategic plan, and overseeing all business operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling an emerging franchise brand, a deep understanding of the sports and recreation industry, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Vision:
Develop and implement the company's vision and long-term strategic plan, aligning short-term goals with overall business objectives.
Provide inspired leadership and guidance to the executive team, franchisees, and employees, fostering a culture of excellence, passion, and innovation.
Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, effectively representing the Company to franchisees, partners, investors, and the broader community.
Financial Performance and Growth:
Drive robust franchise expansion and development, collaborating closely with the Franchise Development team to meet aggressive growth targets.
Oversee the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure fiscal health and profitability.
Identify and secure new revenue streams, including commercial partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic alliances.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure operational consistency and a best-in-class member experience across all locations.
Work closely with the Head of Real Estate to optimize site selection, construction, and club openings.
Foster a high-performance, positive culture by mentoring and coaching the leadership team and fostering strong communication across all departments.
Franchisee and Stakeholder Management:
Cultivate strong, positive relationships with franchise partners, providing them with the necessary tools, support, and guidance for success.
Effectively manage relationships with the Owners and Founders, and Investors, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and transparent communication.
Oversee media relations and brand management, effectively handling crises and building a strong, positive brand image.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of senior executive experience, with a significant portion in a high-growth, multi-unit or franchise business.
Proven track record of successfully scaling a franchise concept nationally and internationally, preferably in the health, fitness, and wellness, or recreational sport industries.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing a company's budget, financial planning, and P&L statements.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand, time-sensitive corporate environment.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
