Local Search Appeal is seeking an experienced, proactive Client Account Manager to oversee and grow long-term client relationships within our digital marketing agency.
This is a high-visibility, client-facing role ideal for someone with strong experience in local digital marketing, agency account management, client retention, and consultative sales.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for approximately 150 established clients across a variety of home service and franchise industries throughout the U.S. & Canada.
The ideal candidate is confident leading client conversations, highly organized, responsive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced remote agency environment.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned client accounts
- Manage ongoing client communication via email, phone, Zoom, and text
- Lead client strategy calls, onboarding meetings, and recurring check-ins
- Consult clients on:
- Local SEO
- Google Business Profile optimization
- Google Local Services Ads (LSA)
- Google Ads / PPC campaigns
- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Review campaign performance reports and communicate results clearly
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional services
- Manage renewals and support long-term client retention
- Coordinate internally with SEO, PPC, content, and support teams
- Escalate urgent client concerns when necessary
- Maintain accurate account notes, follow-ups, and task management
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and strategic guidance
- 6+ years of Account Management experience within a digital marketing agency
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Local SEO
- Google Business Profiles (GBP)
- Google Local Services Ads (LSA)
- Google Ads / PPC
- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Proven experience managing remote client relationships and retaining accounts
- Demonstrated success growing accounts through consultative sales and strategic recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, and sometimes chaotic environment
- Highly personable, confident communicator, and active listener
- Previous experience working with franchise organizations or multi-location businesses
- Prior agency experience supporting home service businesses
- Experience leading Zoom/video meetings and client presentations
- Familiarity with CRM, project management, and reporting tools
- Annual Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 DOE
