We are working with a well-established, independent commissioning consultancy to appoint a Commissioning Specialist to support a growing project portfolio across the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

The Role
As a Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of commissioning services across a range of complex building systems. This role can be aligned to either Mechanical (HVAC, hydronic, central plant) or Electrical (power distribution, emergency systems, controls) backgrounds.
You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle — from design review through to functional testing and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Support commissioning activities from design phase through to occupancy
Review design documents, submittals, and sequences of operation
Develop and execute commissioning plans and functional performance tests
Perform on-site system verification and troubleshooting
Coordinate with contractors, design teams, and owners to ensure system performance
Document deficiencies and track resolution through to completion
Contribute to commissioning reports and client deliverables
