Controller

The Controller will play a critical role in helping the senior leadership team in its strategic decision making and operations by preparing monthly reports and consolidated financials, and finding ways to improve performance, create efficiencies and reduce costs to maximize working capital.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the accounting, financial and control reporting of the organization, including monthly close, consolidated monthly financial reports.

Analyze overall business results and specific project profitability with goal of continuous improvement

Develops and implements internal controls where necessary

Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

Ad hoc reporting and projects as required

Desired Skills and Capabilities:

CPA and MBA preferred

At least 10 years’ experience in accounting, ideally with a background in public accounting and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a senior financial management position

Experienced controller with high ethical standards, sound technical skills, analytic ability, good judgment and a strong operational focus

Ability to function as a self‐starter and flourish in a fast growing organization

Strong interpersonal as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build a team and lead through influence management

Proven ability in leveraging technology and financial systems to drive sound financial management and decision making
