Accountabilities
Lead and supervise admissions counselors, senior counselors, and support staff to ensure efficient workflows and exceptional client experiences.
Oversee the intake and admissions process, including inquiry management, clinical screenings, insurance verification, and admissions coordination.
Ensure accurate and compliant documentation and data management within CRM systems and internal platforms.
Collaborate closely with clinical, medical, and operational teams to coordinate admissions schedules and facilitate smooth client transitions into care.
Monitor admissions team performance, track operational metrics, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing support to team members while maintaining adherence to organizational policies and standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, confidentiality standards, and internal procedures across all admissions activities.
Support strategic initiatives and additional projects related to admissions operations and client engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; healthcare or medical-related background preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of admissions experience within a behavioral healthcare or related clinical environment.
Strong understanding of clinical and medical screening processes within behavioral health settings.
Previous leadership or team management experience overseeing admissions staff and workflows.
Clinical mental health licensure is preferred.
Hands-on experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce for data management, reporting, and case tracking.
Knowledge of insurance verification processes and coordination of care within healthcare programs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across clinical, operational, and administrative teams.
