Director of Construction – Commercial Roofing Division

Boca Raton, FL preferred | Houston or Dallas considered

$160k–$185k base + bonus | Auto allowance | 25%+ travel

We’re hiring a senior construction operations leader to run a commercial roofing division for a national construction and restoration company.

This is not a single-project PM role. This is a division leadership role with ownership over P&L, revenue, margin, operations, client relationships, team performance, and project execution.

The ideal candidate may come from a Director of Construction, Operations Manager, Division Manager, General Manager, Regional Manager, or senior construction leadership background. They do not need to have held this exact title, but they do need meaningful commercial roofing exposure and the confidence to lead the business.

What You’ll Own

• Full P&L responsibility for the division
• Revenue, gross margin, pipeline, AR, and operational performance
• Leadership of PMs, project coordinators, admin support, and cost/accounting support
• Oversight of commercial roofing, restoration, re-roofing, repairs, maintenance, and storm/CAT-related work
• Estimating, scheduling, subcontractor deployment, project execution, invoicing, and closeout
• Client-facing communication with executives, VPs, ownership groups, and key accounts
• Vendor, subcontractor, and manufacturer relationships
• Process improvement, reporting, quality control, safety, and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• Senior construction operations leadership experience
• Experience running a division, branch, region, or multi-project construction operation
• P&L, revenue, margin, and team management responsibility
• Experience leading PMs and holding teams accountable across multiple active projects
• Strong executive-level client communication
• Commercial roofing exposure required, but roofing does not need to be the person’s entire background
• Commercial restoration, renovation, hospitality, senior living, institutional, or insurance-related construction experience is a plus
• Strong Excel and technology skills; must be comfortable using estimating and PM platforms
• Edge estimating experience is a plus
• OSHA 30 preferred
• College degree preferred, but experience and leadership ability matter most

Compensation

• $160k–$185k base salary
