Location: Miami / Fort Lauderdale Metro Area (Hybrid | 3 Days In-Office)

Compensation: $205,000 – $220,000 Base Salary + Bonus (Depending on Experience)

Equity: Potential Equity Participation for the Right Candidate


Overview

E57 Partners is partnering with a private equity-backed platform company to identify its first Director of FP&A & Corporate Development following a recent acquisition by a leading PE firm.

This is a highly visible and strategic opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who thrives in build environments and wants to help shape the future of a growing platform company. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will serve as the first dedicated hire across the FP&A and Corporate Development functions and will play a critical role in helping build the financial infrastructure, reporting cadence, forecasting processes, and acquisition analysis capabilities of the organization.


The ideal candidate will bring a blend of FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or corporate development experience, along with the willingness to operate in a lean and entrepreneurial environment.


This role is designed for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and execution and is excited about helping scale a business during a transformational growth phase.


Key Responsibilities

FP&A & Strategic Finance

  • Partner directly with the CFO and executive leadership team on strategic financial planning initiatives
  • Build and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity sponsors
  • Create KPI dashboards, board materials, variance analysis, and operational reporting packages
  • Support cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis, and operational finance initiatives
  • Help establish scalable reporting processes, financial models, and performance metrics across the organization
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and accounting teams to improve visibility into business performance
  • Assist in building the overall finance infrastructure as the company continues to scale

Corporate Development & M&A Support

  • Support acquisition evaluation, financial modeling, and investment analysis activities
  • Assist with due diligence, integration planning, and synergy tracking for future acquisitions
  • Partner with PE sponsors, lenders, advisors, and external stakeholders during transaction processes
  • Build detailed operating and valuation models to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist with post-acquisition integration efforts and performance tracking

Team Building & Leadership

  • Serve as the foundational hire for the FP&A and Corporate Development functions
  • Initially operate as a highly hands-on individual contributor
  • Over time, help hire and manage two analysts:
  • FP&A Analyst
  • Corporate Development Analyst
  • Mentor and develop future team members while helping establish best practices and scalable processes


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or advanced degree is a plus
  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Private Equity, Strategic Finance, or related fields
  • Experience working in private equity-backed, high-growth, or transformational environments strongly preferred
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities required
  • Experience preparing board decks, investor materials, and executive reporting packages
  • Ability to operate strategically while also remaining highly hands-on
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives, investors, and operational leaders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build processes and infrastructure from the ground up
