We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain performance in a highly complex, capital-intensive manufacturing environment. This role is both visionary and operational—partnering closely with executive leadership, finance, operations, and global sourcing teams to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and long-term scalability.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Own and execute the full supply chain strategy: procurement, sourcing, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance
• Establish and enforce procurement and supply chain policies aligned with corporate, financial, and regulatory standards
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership with data-driven insights on cost, risk, capacity, and supply continuity

Procurement & Sourcing Excellence

• Lead all site-level sourcing activities including raw materials, MRO, capital spares, and services
• Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives to improve margins
• Negotiate and manage high-value, long-term supplier contracts
• Partner with global sourcing teams on commodity strategies and supplier optimization

Inventory & Materials Management

• Define inventory strategies, stocking policies, and service-level targets
• Optimize working capital while ensuring production continuity
• Implement best practices for stockroom operations, warehousing, and material flow

Supplier Management & Risk Mitigation

• Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships
• Establish performance frameworks across quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks including supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and geopolitical exposure

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations teams
• Lead initiatives to improve supply chain resilience, responsiveness, and efficiency
• Partner with Finance on budgeting, capital planning, and spend governance

People Leadership & Operational Excellence

• Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team
• Establish KPIs, accountability, and performance standards
• Drive continuous improvement through lean and best-in-class supply chain practices
• Lead with urgency in critical downtime situations to restore operations quickly

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or sourcing leadership experience
• 7+ years in senior leadership roles, including managing managers and cross-functional teams
• Proven success driving cost reductions, supply continuity, and inventory optimization
• Deep expertise across end-to-end supply chain operations and global procurement
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and drive business outcomes
• Experience in advanced or high-tech manufacturing environments
