SALARY RANGE: $70,000 to $85,000
REPORTS TO: Ecommerce Manager
JOB TITLE: Full-Time, Exempt
Job Location: This is a hybrid role, with a minimum expectation of up to 2 days per week in office to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and partnership.
About this role:
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Associate who’s equal parts detail-obsessed and curious—someone who takes pride in a perfectly optimized product page while understanding the bigger picture. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day maintenance and optimization of our online store, ensuring data accuracy, site performance, and brand consistency, while contributing across merchandising, promotions, QA, and overall site experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Setup & Content Management // Content Management & Launch Coordination
- Own end-to-end product setup in Shopify, creating and updating PDPs (descriptions, details, tags, metafields, metadata) to ensure content is accurate and on-brand
- Edit and upload product imagery as needed, ensuring consistency in cropping, aspect ratios, file formats, and naming conventions
- Monitor data integrity across ERP/CMS applications, including titles, pricing, variant configurations, and back-order timelines
- Coordinate and support product launches and assortment extensions to ensure content needs are effectually identified, requested, and delivered
- Perform comprehensive pre- and post-launch QA, validating alignment with brand standards and content guidelines to ensure a seamless UI/UX
Site Merchandising & Reporting
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to improve optimization and inform site merchandising strategy, leveraging site performance and customer behavior KPIs (conversion rate, traffic, revenue, funnel analysis, A/B testing)
- Build, curate, merchandise and manage collections and landing pages regularly to align with launches, promotions, inventory, and other business priorities
- Assist with site navigation, owning product categorization, filters, and tagging logic to provide an intuitive and cohesive UI/UX
- Implement and optimize cross-sell and upsell strategies to drive AOV and product discovery
Site Operations & Promotions
- Maintain and update static structural and informational support pages, including About, Visit Us, Events, FAQs, etc.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure optimal functionality, troubleshooting front-end issues at all levels to identify and resolve any bugs, errors, inconsistencies, and potential friction points
- Monitor native and third-party integrations, ensuring applications are up-to-date and operating optimally
- Assist in executing and scheduling promotions, including creation and management of discount codes, banners/pop-ups, and T&Cs, as well as implementation of product inclusion/exclusion rules
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with merchandising, marketing, retail, and creative teams to ensure alignment across site content, launches, promotions and key business initiatives
- Liaise with technology and development teams to support enhancements, log issues, and manage resolution requests.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 3+ years experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or a related field
- Must be proficient in Shopify and Google Analytics
- Extremely detail oriented and highly organized
- Self-starter with excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS & Javascript
- Basic knowledge of Netsuite a plus but not required
- Photoshop experience a plus
- Articulate and ambitious, able to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Must have a strategic mindset and analytical experience
- Excellent problem solver
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed
