Job Description
Part-Time or Full-Time, Day or Night positions available!
Serves as primary communication liaison between clients, family members, managed care representatives, and behavioral healthcare personnel. Assures the continuity of patient care upon completion of the assessment by assisting in the implementation of the referral recommendation. Provides therapeutic and educational services to patients, family, staff, and community. Appropriately assesses suicide, violence, and elopement potential. Facilitates appropriate milieu management within the emergency departments and medical units. Responds to potentially dangerous situations with low-level interventions to avoid harm to patients and staff. Participates in higher-level interventions, including take-downs when necessary. Provides quality and timely assessment and referral services, incorporating diagnostic skills and state-specific regulations. Develops and offers safe and clinically appropriate disposition recommendations to medical personnel and clients. Other duties as assigned.
