Position: English Translator

Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time)

Compensation: $40–$95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Minimum 15 hours per week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe video and audio content with high accuracy and clear timestamps
• Analyze and document emotion, tone, and speaker intent
• Evaluate grammatical structures, language usage, and stylistic choices
• Define words, phrases, and concepts to improve clarity and understanding
• Perform advanced language tasks including semantic and content analysis
• Collaborate with team members to maintain linguistic quality standards
• Meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Requirements

• Native-level English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Background in translation, linguistics, or related language fields
• Experience transcribing and annotating multimedia content
• Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, tone, and language structure
• Analytical mindset with sensitivity to emotional and contextual nuance
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
