Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for EHS Managers to support upcoming projects across multiple locations in Texas (Nolan, Haskell, and Spur). This is a client-side role with a strong emphasis on the program management aspect of safety, rather than purely site-based observation. The successful candidate will play a key role in integrating safety into project planning and execution, working closely with stakeholders to ensure high standards are maintained across all phases of the project lifecycle. It is a 12-months contract role with view to extension and we are specifically seeking local candidates, no per diem will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in project planning meetings to ensure safety is embedded from the outset
• Review safety plans and identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement
• Provide strategic safety input and guidance to the project team
• Act as a key point of contact between stakeholders, including direct communication with the client
• Support the development and implementation of robust EHS procedures and standards
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and best practices
• Contribute to proactive risk management rather than reactive site-based observations

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• 5-10 years of relevant EHS experience, strong background in program-level safety management
• Solid understanding of: Pick plans, Fall protection systems, General construction safety practices
• Experience working on data center projects with exposure to major clients such as Google, Microsoft or Oracle is a strong advantage
• Experience in substation or power plant construction is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within planning and project teams
