We are seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist to join our growing team in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career professional who wants hands‑on exposure to NYC OER and Brownfield projects, meaningful fieldwork, and strong technical growth in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
You’ll play a key role supporting environmental site assessments, remediation efforts, and construction‑phase activities across all five boroughs, working on a mix of private and public‑sector projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare and contribute to Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Site Assessment Reports, and Remedial Action / Closure Plans
Support NYC OER and Brownfield remediation projects, from investigation through construction and close‑out
Perform fieldwork as needed, including:
Soil and groundwater sampling
Construction oversight and environmental compliance
Community Air Monitoring (CAMP)
Assist with data interpretation, regulatory documentation, and coordination with project managers and field teams
Gain exposure to remediation projects throughout 5 boroughs
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
Experience with Phase I / Phase II investigations and remediation support
Familiarity with OER, Brownfield, or urban redevelopment projects preferred
Strong technical writing and organizational skills
Willingness to perform both field and office‑based work
Required Certifications
OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER
NYC SST Card

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00/hr.
