Under minimum supervision, supervises maintenance athletic facility attendant employees, operates HVAC equipment, and performs housekeeping in the building and adjacent grounds, schedules and inspections. Responsible for the building being clean and secure for the next day.
Basic Functions:
Supervise assigned staff in ensuring adequate maintenance of the building and adjacent grounds
Operate HVAC equipment for environmental comfort according to established guidelines and directives
Inspect the facility daily for damage; identify and initiate maintenance work orders and records for resolution of identified problems
Inspect employee work sections daily to ensure adherence to housekeeping cleaning
Adhere to structural and safety inspections, and perform minor preventative maintenance repairs, such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting, with the tools assigned
Maintain accurate records including employee records, inventory, cleaning schedules, and vacation planning
Procure materials and supplies for the facility
Report all emergency situation and problems, maintenance, and safety concerns to appropriate personnel; take appropriate action to ensure adherence to established guidelines and established procedures in the handling of problems and emergencies
Maintain good public relations and communications with coworkers, Principals, Department Heads, and other supervisors
Other day to day responsibilities include; setting up for graduations, external rental request, District meeting and activities, setting up fields and courts to UIL standards. Responsibilities also include assisting teams with equipment and providing beverages to teams and coaching staff
Accredited High School diploma or USA equivalency required
Four (4) years of directly related experience
Must have a current CPO Managers Certificate
Valid Texas Driver License and a driving record that meets the District's standard
Knowledgeable in HVAC equipment operation, housekeeping cleaning procedures and custodial equipment
Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position
