An LA professional services company is looking for a Finance Manager to add to their team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will be instrumental in helping build out the FP&A processes within the company in addition to analytics, reporting, system administration, budgeting, and creating dashboards. To be successful in this role, the Finance Manager should have experience working in fast-paced and PE environments, have executive presence, and have strong high-level business acumen. What do you need for this Finance Manager role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
• 5-10 years of corporate finance experience (at least 3 years minimum as a Senior Financial Analyst)
• Must have recent experience working in professional services FP&A
• Experience working in PE-backed/high acquisition companies will be given preference
• Advanced Excel
• Strong system skills
• Experience with building out and developing processes and systems

What will you do in this Finance Manager role?

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Partner with leaders to develop assumptions and inputs for models
• Analyze budget vs actuals, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
• Act as a partner to leadership on strategic initiatives
• Build models and business cases for investments, pricing, and capital allocation
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses
• Support M&A, integrations, and other strategic transactions
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting
• Prepare and deliver reporting packages
• Communicate financial results and forward-looking insights
• Conduct in-depth variance and performance analysis
• Leverage financial systems and analytical tools
• Serve as a key administrator for ERP and planning systems
• Drive automation and process improvements
• Train and support users on systems and best practices
• Partner with accounting during month-end close
• Ensure consistency between accounting and FP&A data
• Communicate financial assumptions, risks, and recommendations
