Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite | Western Suburbs of Chicago

A leading global organization is seeking a skilled and analytical Financial Analyst to support multiple operations. This role will partner closely with leadership and finance stakeholders to provide financial insights, reporting, and analytical support. The ideal candidate has experience in inventory-driven industries and thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support FP&A activities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis
• Prepare and analyze P&L reports, identifying trends and key business drivers
• Develop and maintain financial reporting using data visualization tools
• Partner with finance leaders to support decision-making and operational performance
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across reporting cycles
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a financial analysis or accounting role
• Experience in inventory-based industries strongly preferred (manufacturing, distribution/wholesale, logistics/warehousing, or CPG)
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and other core formulas)
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Basic understanding of P&L statements
• Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships across business and finance teams
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple stakeholders
