About Righteous Felon:
Righteous Felon is a premium craft meat snack brand built by a small-but-mighty team that's been at it for 14 years. With bold flavors, clean ingredients, and an unapologetic voice, we're rebels with a cause in the meat snack space, taking on a $6B+ category and helping lead the shift toward fun, better-for-you protein snacking.
We sell everywhere great snacks are sold: online, Amazon, TikTok, Costco, Wawa, Target, Kroger, and far beyond, including hotels, sports nutrition, bars, golf clubs...even at SpaceX. The momentum is real: Inc. 5000 (#1316) and Instacart's #16 Top Emerging Brand in 2025. Even still, we're under 2% of the market, which means the whitespace is massive, and we're just getting started. We're looking to add a few key players to the team for the next stage of growth.
Our Culture
Righteous Felon is a small-but-mighty team of thinkers and doers. Everyone wears a lot of hats, and most of us are player/coaches: owning the work, leading when needed, and jumping in wherever it takes to win. We move fast, keep our heads down, and get shit done. We test often, measure closely, learn quickly, and iterate nonstop.
We recruit great people and develop great people. Many of our leaders started as order pickers in the warehouse, because growth here is earned through ownership, attitude, results, and the ability to adapt. We're employee-owned, and we genuinely care about each other and the work we put out.
We leverage tech, automation, and AI to stay efficient and keep meetings minimal: clear owners, tight decisions, and lots of action. It's a flat organization where every voice matters and the best idea wins, no matter who it comes from. If you like working hard, making cool stuff, and being nice to people, you'll fit right in.
We are highly interested in people who use AI as a force multiplier. We view AI as a management, planning, and execution tool that helps great operators move faster, think better, stay organized, and increase output without sacrificing quality. The right candidate is excited about AI, fluent in working with it day to day, and constantly looking for practical ways to apply it to improve creative development, decision-making, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
The Opportunity
You'll be building for our core consumer: the Rebel with a Code. They're a culture-aware, fast-deciding 30–40-something consumer who buys snacks as identity, not just nutrition. They want protein-centric fuel that tastes unreal, made with clean ingredients, wrapped in great art, sharp storytelling, and a point of view.
As General Manager of Alternative Channels & Partner Brands, you'll own two of the most exciting growth frontiers at Righteous Felon. First, you'll build and scale our alternative channel business—the non-traditional outlets where our brand naturally shows up and overperforms: hotels, airlines, sports venues, golf courses and pro shops, gyms and fitness studios, corporate offices, vending, military, universities, bars and restaurants, subscription boxes, and specialty e-commerce. These channels are high-margin, high-visibility, and perfectly suited to a premium brand—but they require a different playbook than traditional retail. Second, you'll lead our Partner Brands business—developing and managing co-branded, white-label, and private-label opportunities where RTZN Brands leverages its manufacturing expertise, supply chain, and flavor development capabilities to produce premium meat snacks for partner brands and retailers. This is a P&L ownership role. You'll set the strategy, build the pipeline, close deals, manage relationships, oversee fulfillment, and drive profitable revenue growth across both functions. If you're an entrepreneurial operator who thrives on building new business lines, loves the hustle of non-traditional sales, and gets excited about using AI to manage complexity and move fast, this is the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Alternative Channel Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for alternative and non-traditional channels: hospitality (hotels, airlines, cruise lines), foodservice (bars, restaurants, catering), sports and entertainment (stadiums, arenas, golf clubs), fitness and wellness (gyms, studios, sports nutrition retailers), corporate and office (snack programs, vending), military (commissaries, exchanges), education (universities, campus retail), and specialty/curated (subscription boxes, gift sets, specialty e-commerce)
- Build the pipeline: identify, prospect, pitch, and close new alternative channel accounts
- Develop channel-specific sales materials, pricing strategies, product assortments, and packaging formats that fit each channel's needs while protecting brand premium
- Set revenue targets and growth plans for alternative channels, with clear accountability by segment
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, brokers, and channel-specific intermediaries as needed
- Partner Brands & Co-Manufacturing
- Own the Partner Brands P&L: developing and managing co-branded, white-label, and private-label meat snack programs for external brand partners, retailers, and corporate clients
- Build the business development pipeline—identifying potential partners, leading outreach, pitching capabilities, and negotiating terms
- Manage the end-to-end partner engagement: scoping, flavor development collaboration, pricing, packaging, production coordination, quality assurance, and fulfillment
- Partner with Operations and R&D on production planning, capacity allocation, and quality standards for partner brand products
- Ensure partner brand work is accretive to RTZN Brands' bottom line and does not dilute or conflict with the Righteous Felon brand
- P&L Ownership & Financial Management
- Own the financial performance of both Alternative Channels and Partner Brands—setting budgets, managing margins, forecasting revenue, and reporting results
- Develop pricing strategies that protect profitability while remaining competitive and attractive to channel partners
- Track and report on key financial metrics: revenue, margin, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and channel-level profitability
- Provide regular financial updates and strategic recommendations to the CEO and leadership team
- AI + Automation for Business Development & Operations
- Use AI to accelerate prospecting, lead qualification, outreach personalization, proposal development, and pipeline management across both alternative channels and partner brands
- Build automated workflows for CRM management, contract tracking, order processing, and partner communications
- Leverage AI for market research and opportunity sizing: identifying high-potential channels, mapping competitive presence, and modeling revenue scenarios
- Create and maintain AI-assisted templates for pitch decks, proposals, partner onboarding materials, and channel-specific sales collateral
- Use AI-driven analytics to monitor channel performance, identify trends, and optimize resource allocation
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on production scheduling, inventory allocation, and fulfillment for alternative channel and partner brand orders
- Collaborate with Marketing on brand guidelines, co-branding standards, and marketing support for alternative channel placements
- Work with Finance on contract terms, pricing models, margin analysis, and revenue recognition
- Coordinate with the VP of Sales to ensure alternative channel strategy complements (not conflicts with) traditional retail strategy
- Manage external partner relationships with professionalism, responsiveness, and a long-term mindset
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or general management in CPG food & beverage, with significant experience in non-traditional or alternative channels
- Proven track record of building new revenue streams or business lines from early-stage to meaningful scale
- P&L management experience with demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth
- Strong business development and deal-making skills—you know how to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close
- AI + automation passion (non-negotiable): You use AI daily to manage pipeline, develop proposals, research opportunities, and automate operational workflows. You see AI as the tool that lets one person manage the complexity of multiple channels and partner relationships without anything falling through the cracks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity—you can build the playbook while running the plays
- Excellent relationship management skills across diverse channel partners, from hotel procurement teams to corporate snack program managers to brand partners
- Strong financial acumen with comfort in pricing strategy, margin analysis, and forecasting
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Willingness to travel as needed (estimated 25–35%)
