We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join an Equity & Inclusion team on a contract basis. This position supports member-facing programs and day-to-day coordination for sensitive workplace matters, while helping keep operations organized, responsive, and compliant. The role is well suited to someone who communicates with empathy, handles confidential information with care, and can balance administrative detail with strong service-oriented support.
Responsibilities: • Manage the intake, documentation, and follow-up process for complaints involving discrimination and harassment, ensuring accuracy and professionalism throughout each case. • Maintain organized records and tracking tools for complaints, metrics, and status updates, and prepare routine reports for department use. • Coordinate logistics and administrative support for Equity & Inclusion initiatives, including meetings, events, committee activities, and special projects. • Draft, format, and distribute educational resources and member communications that support departmental outreach and engagement. • Conduct research and compile information to assist with program planning, policy-related topics, and department priorities. • Provide administrative assistance related to vendor or contract coordination, including gathering documents and supporting review processes. • Partner with internal stakeholders to keep projects moving forward, manage timelines, and address requests in a timely manner. • Uphold discretion when working with confidential or sensitive matters and deliver a high level of customer service to members and colleagues. • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. • At least 2 years of experience supporting Human Resources, Equity & Inclusion, Diversity, or related professionals. • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and respond thoughtfully in sensitive situations. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines. • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to professionalism and accuracy. • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides. • Ability to work effectively as a collaborative team member while managing confidential information responsibly.
