Wage Range: $16.53 - $23.55 per hour, plus bonus opportunity
As an HR Specialist for Warehouse, you will provide regular, in-person human resources and benefit support to the Mt. Sterling Warehouse employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Work with new warehouse employees on Benefits sign up
Coordinate employee programs (i.e. Money Matters, Open Enrollment, etc.)
Assist with the planning and execution of HR initiatives
Provide training to employees and managers as needed for HR systems
Attend various warehouse meetings and events
Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or general equivalency degree
Trustworthiness to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interact with employees and other departments.
Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
Bachelor’s degree or 2 years HR experience
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
Experience working in both team and independent settings.
Leadership skills to influence others and drive change.
ROLE SPECIFICS
Schedule: Monday – Friday. Schedule will include some evening coverage for warehouse. Specific hours will be flexible, based on candidate need.
Travel: Occasional overnight travel to company meetings or events. Must have the ability to travel independently, as needed, by any mode of transportation, including by car, plane, or train.
