A Junior Lease Analyst manages an organization’s lease portfolio by interpreting complex contracts, abstracting key data, and tracking critical dates, renewals, and rent changes, to ensure legal and financial compliance. They bridge accounting, legal, and property management teams to process payments, reconcile CAM/taxes, and analyze lease profitability.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Review and interpret complex lease language to extract key dates (renewals, expires) and financial obligations into databases. Updating MRI system with lease terms and documents.
Calculate and process monthly rent, CAM (common area maintenance) charges, taxes, percentage rent, maintenance expenses, and insurance reconciliations.
Conduct audits to ensure adherence to contractual terms and minimize financial risk.
Work closely with legal, leasing, accounting, property management, construction accounting, and insurance to ensure compliance with lease terms.
Investigate discrepancies and responsibilities of the lease terms with tenants internally as well as provide reports and rent rolls for executive team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, English preferred, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in lease administration, real estate, or administrative role.
1-3 years’ experience with Lease administration, contracts or a real estate background.
High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and ability to manage tight deadlines.
Proactive and clear communication skills that bridge the gaps between landlords, tenants, and internal teams to explain complex lease language.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, MRI.
Physical Requirements
Normal dexterity required in an office environment including sitting at desk for extended. periods of time, occasional walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
Computer use, frequent finger dexterity to operate keyboards, mouse, and office equipment.
Close vision, and ability to adjust focus to review contracts.
Regular talking and hearing for phone and in-person communication.
Lifting up to 25 lbs
Occasional travel for conferences

Pay Range: $29.00 - $35.00 Hourly
Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
