Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in a wide range of products including fire and smoke detection systems, extinguishing systems, bleed air overheat detection systems, actuators, rudder pedal assemblies, pumps, fuel gauging systems, and high-temperature cables. Located in Simi Valley, CA, this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier in select energy markets, particularly in nuclear gas analyzers and nuclear containment vessel penetration cables. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and Lockheed Martin, among others.
LEAN SPECIALIST
The Lean Manufacturing Engineer’s primary responsibility for the development and deployment of the tools, methods and processes that make-up the Parker Lean system (PLS). Ability to lead and facilitate lean kaizen events to drive business performance improvement. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Coordinates and allocates the daily continuous improvement activities to meet company objectives
Collects, analyzes and reports product data and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Utilizes the team’s knowledge to drive improvements and best practices
Recommends solutions to complex problems and implements corrective actions
Effectively applies improvement initiatives for all related activities in the facility
Manages training and skills enhancement for all employees with respect to continuous improvement tools and techniques
Provides technical expertise and implements lean principles, techniques and methods

Pay Range: $83,250 to $138,550 annually
