Consilio’s Direct Hire division is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join the Austin office of a national law firm. This is a direct hire permanent and benefited position with our law firm client.
Key Responsibilities
Set up new clients/matters, run conflict checks, and manage billing including invoice preparation, edits, transfers, and special requests while coordinating with Accounting on records and collections
Enter and review attorney time, track submission deadlines, and process expense reports and credit card reconciliations
Format and produce documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; assist with presentations and proofread for accuracy, grammar, and formatting
Organize and maintain electronic and physical files in iManage, ensuring proper storage and accuracy
Manage calendars, schedule meetings and court dates, coordinate logistics (rooms, catering, setup), and arrange domestic and international travel
Track deadlines, maintain docket/tickler systems, and assist with court filings
Handle mail, copying, scanning, and document distribution; maintain contacts in InterAction CRM
Support attorneys and team members, provide backup coverage, and assist with office operations, supplies, and events
Qualifications & Skills
3–7 years of law firm admin experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal/billing systems, and CRM tools
Work Environment & Compensation
Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in-office)
Salary: $75K–$95K + overtime eligibility
