About The Position
The Manager of Special Education Programs provides leadership, professional development, and program management for assigned Special Education programs and staff supervision. Successful candidates will have expertise in evidence-based practices in assessment and instruction, program evaluation, and special education law.

Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in one (1) of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field;
Three (3) or more years of work experience in a school setting in one (1) or more of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field.
Licenses/Special Requirements
Valid Washington State Principal or Administrator Certification (or provide proof of enrollment in the certification program within one (1) year of hire date).
2025-26 Manager Salary Schedule: Level III - $186,634 to $190,441 depending on education

Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year (Health, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability, Life and AD+D Insurance, and options for HSA, FSA, and DCAP). Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by employees who work at least 3.5 hours per day in a continuing position.
