Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 4:30pm

Overview

Working as Full-time Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, quality, heat treat and customer service departments. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Designing tooling for cold/hot heading, secondary processes and gaging
• Troubleshooting manufacturing processes, machinery, tooling and gaging
• Initiating recommendations for tooling materials, speeds, feeds and equipment setup
• Researching capital appropriations for manufacturing equipment upgrades and replacements
• Providing effective recommendations for the improvement of operational methods to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality
• Assisting with quoting and costing activities
• Promoting and implementing continuous improvement programs
  
  

Required Position Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• Possess or are working towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Exhibit strong orientation toward continuous improvement
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment

• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
  
  

Preferred Position Qualifications

• Prior experiencing using CAD (Solidworks/AutoDesk, Inventor)
