Job description:

Luxury Retail & Brand Activations

We are seeking a Marketing & Events coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives, brand activations, and social media content across our retail locations and events.

This role is a hands-on, fast-paced position that blends marketing coordination, social media content creation, and operational support for in-store activations and events. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing many hats—from capturing social media content to assisting with event setup and organizing marketing materials.

This position works closely with the marketing team, brand partners, and store teams to help bring brand experiences and activations to life.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Capture high-quality photos and short-form video content during events, store visits, and brand activations
  • Create Instagram stories, reels, and posts showcasing events, partnerships, and store experiences
  • Assist with maintaining social media platforms with fresh, relevant content
  • Support basic graphic design needs using Canva or similar tools
  • Assist with website updates, including product highlights, brand features, and press mentions (Shopify experience a plus)

Event Coordination & Activation Support

  • Assist in planning and executing brand activations, in-store events, and promotional experiences
  • Provide hands-on support for event setup and breakdown, including signage, displays, gift bags, and merchandising materials
  • Travel locally to store locations when needed to support activations
  • Capture event content and assist with post-event recap reporting

Marketing Operations & Inventory Organization

  • Maintain organization of marketing materials, activation assets, and brand collateral
  • Help manage and organize product inventories used for marketing activations, including fragrance and spirits samples
  • Track and coordinate distribution of marketing materials across locations
  • Assist with packing, preparing, and organizing materials for upcoming events and brand activations

Brand & Vendor Coordination

  • Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for brand partners and vendors
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables for marketing materials and event needs
  • Support communication between marketing, store teams, and brand representatives

Administrative & Project Support

  • Maintain the marketing calendar and assist with deadline tracking
  • Support research, reporting, and special projects for the marketing team
  • Assist with recap decks and qualitative insights following events and activations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, retail, events, hospitality, or related industries
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience creating social media content (Instagram reels, stories, event photography)
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment supporting events and activations
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and basic content tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)
  • Shopify or website CMS experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel locally and assist with event setup when needed
