Building Sales Teams in Manufacturing & Engineering - Technical & Sales ⚙️💻🌍
We're on the lookout for a National Sales Director to support a mid sized (190 employees) hydraulics business in the US. You'll be focused solely on the North Americas managing a team of 6 direct sales individuals, as well as another 5 supporting sales individuals. The company manufacture pumps, valves and other components used within hydraulic systems. The business runs a split of 70/30 between distribution and direct sales, so you'll need a background in both. The role can be performed remotely with the HQ being based on the East Coast, you'll need to be comfortable with 50%+ travel and overnight stays at HQ every quarter.
Your background:
5+ years experience as a sales leader (Manager or Director)
10+ years experience in the industry or similar
Experienced driving strategy, implementing processes and excellent people leader.
Experience developing distribution relationships, evaluating new and existing partners
Work closely with product team to drive customer led development
Experience working on a SLT is advantageous.
Experience of managing revenue streams of $45m+
This role comes with yearly bonus and quarterly paid commission, as well as car, 401K, healthcare (dental/physical).
$175-200K fix salary dependent on experience.
