Role Overview

This position offers the chance to shape and enhance a modern, enterprise scale network that powers critical applications across datacenter, cloud, and hybrid environments. As a Network Engineer II, you will use advanced technical insight to design, build, test, and deploy resilient and secure network solutions. Your work will span private and public cloud networks, wireless infrastructure, wide and local area networks, and large scale routing and security architectures.

You will join an experienced network team and contribute as a hands on engineer who can troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve moderately complex issues while guiding peers and collaborating across the organization. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys contributing to strategic initiatives while remaining deeply engaged in technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead network focused initiatives while contributing to multiple IT projects at the same time
• Provide advanced tier two support for network infrastructure such as WAN, LAN, wireless, firewalls, load balancers, and related technologies
• Offer guidance for complex technical challenges and unique architectural scenarios
• Implement and refine disaster recovery strategies and monitoring systems for optimal uptime and responsiveness
• Design and deploy network components in private and public cloud environments, with a focus on virtualized platforms
• Optimize network performance through capacity planning, proactive analysis, and alignment with future technology roadmaps
• Mentor colleagues by sharing knowledge and encouraging strong team practices
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical network operations
• Analyze metrics and telemetry from intricate network and security configurations to ensure reliability, speed, and efficiency
• Serve as the primary network point of contact for the main office, interfacing regularly with stakeholders across all levels of the business, including executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• At least five years of hands on experience deploying and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure in datacenter and wide area environments
• At least two years supporting public, private, or hybrid cloud based network solutions
• At least two years of experience using enterprise network monitoring tools
• Professional level network certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are strongly preferred
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Zscaler technologies such as ZPA or ZIA
• Cloud networking knowledge and hands on experience
• Palo Alto firewall administration
• Cisco datacenter switching platforms
• Meraki cloud managed networking equipment
• Modern wireless networking standards and solutions
• Automation or scripting experience with languages such as Python or PowerShell
