Scope of the Role

This Product Design Engineer role exists to own the engineering on retail display programmes

end to end, from concept through mass production and beyond.

• Turn creative renders into buildable prototypes with the in-house model shop.
• Produce your own production drawings, full drawing packs and BOMs.
• Design mating plastic parts with tolerances that account for shrinkage and warp.
• Take programmes from test stores through to mass production across thousands of stores.
• Get hands-on with installs around the US a few times a year.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• SolidWorks, used for real production work. This is non-negotiable.
• A solid background as a Product Design Engineer, Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer in high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven experience with injection moulding, including mating parts, plus sheet metal exposure.
• Sound design for manufacture (DFM) judgement on high-volume plastic parts.
• No point of sale experience needed. Full training provided if you’re new to displays.
