Responsibilities
Manage accounting functions for a multi-entity portfolio.
Perform daily cash management activities and reporting.
Oversee Accounts Payable processes, including transaction review, payment oversight, and research assistance.
Manage Accounts Receivable tasks, including monthly rent billings, miscellaneous billbacks, and receipt monitoring.
Interpret leases and maintain rent rolls in collaboration with the Lease Administrator.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate transaction posting.
Lead monthly closings and prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
Safeguard the integrity of financial data across multiple entities and clients.
Prepare and update current cash flow analyses and long-term financial projections.
Assist in annual budget preparation and updates throughout the year.
Coordinate audit preparations and tax return processes with external CPA firms.
Conduct annual Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations and mid-year analyses as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support.
Provide duty coverage for accounting team members as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with Yardi software is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Dependable, flexible, organized, multitasking individual with a great work ethic and high level of integrity
Strong attention to detail
Compensation: $70k to $80k annually, plus annual discretionary bonus eligibility.
