Overview:
Veronica Beard is looking for a passionate Recruiting Assistant or Junior Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This position supports the full-cycle recruitment process and provides essential day-to-day coordination and administrative support. This position reports to the Recruiter and is based in our NYC office (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
Responsibilities:
Assist with full life cycle recruitment: post open jobs, review applicants, conduct screenings, schedule and coordinate interviews, perform reference checks
Provide communication and follow-up support to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
Manage Employee Referral Program
Help organize and facilitate student visits
Support internship program operations
Conduct market benchmarking to evaluate industry trends
Build and maintain candidate pipeline aligned with organizational structure and workforce needs
Manage Careers inbox
Support Recruiter with various ad hoc tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of experience in recruiting and/or human resources
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse a plus
Proficiency in M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
The hourly range for this role is between $24.00 and $29.00. The relevant hourly rate will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
