About the Position

Watersprint has established a US subsidiary and a local sales organization to serve existing customers better and grow market share. As Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in introducing their innovative water disinfection products to the market, with a primary focus on residential point-of-entry systems. There is a significant opportunity to grow in this niche market. You will be responsible for creating and implementing a detailed sales strategy targeting distributors and local water quality dealers. We're looking for a sales professional with a proven track record in water treatment who can build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with distributors. To succeed in this role, you need to be a team player with a hands-on approach and an entrepreneurial mindset. This is a remote position, ideally based in the mid-Atlantic region, with up to 50% of travel, primarily in North America, and occasional travel to Sweden. You will report directly to the CEO based in Sweden.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence across the US
  • Identify and engage with potential distributors and local water quality dealers to establish strong business relationships
  • Educate and train distributors and dealers on the benefits and features of Watersprint’s UVC LED water disinfection systems
  • Attend and actively participate in trade shows and industry events across the US to promote Watersprint’s solutions and connect with potential partners
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the US market
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team


What We Expect From You

Your Work Experience, Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering
  • Min. 5 years of sales within the water treatment industry, ideally with point-of-entry systems
  • Strong understanding of the residential water treatment market and distribution channels
  • Proven ability to develop strategic business plans and successfully execute them
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and building a sales pipeline from scratch
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish and nurture long-lasting relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business software
  • Experience building and managing sales teams is highly desirable
  • Experience working within an international organization is a big plus
