About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and growth-focused Regional Sales Manager to drive business expansion across the West Coast region of the United States for the Ethnic FMCG category. The ideal candidate should be with strong experience in ethnic food/FMCG sales, distributor management, and regional market development within the US market.

This role requires a hands-on sales professional who can independently manage regional business operations, build strong distributor relationships, and drive revenue growth across key ethnic retail channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and market expansion across the West Coast region of the United States.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts within the ethnic FMCG segment.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand product presence across regional markets.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets, revenue growth, and distribution objectives.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including supply chain, operations, and marketing for seamless execution.
  • Conduct regular market visits and maintain strong channel engagement.
  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for management review.
  • Participate in trade events, distributor meetings, and regional business development activities.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 5 - 8 years relevant US experience in FMCG sales.
  • Mandatory experience in Ethnic FMCG categories
  • Strong understanding of ethnic retail distribution and sales channels across the US market.
  • Proven track record in regional sales growth and distributor management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an individual contributor role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.

  • Strong network within ethnic retail and FMCG distribution ecosystem.
  • Self-driven, commercially focused, and target-oriented professional.
  • Experience handling multicultural markets and regional business development will be an advantage.
