Ripple Effect Artists (REA), a dynamic NYC-based theatre company, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. We harness the transformative power of theatre and film to tackle social injustice and support human rights organizations each fiscal year.

As a volunteer Board Member, you’ll be at the heart of our mission. You’ll participate in meaningful board meetings, contribute your expertise, and help shape the future of REA. Plus, you’ll play a crucial role in our fundraising efforts and strategic planning, directly impacting our ability to create powerful art that resonates across generations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in nonprofit leadership or board service
• A deep-seated passion for social justice issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a remote setting
• Fundraising know-how and valuable networks
• A love for theatre and the arts!

Commitment:

All Board Members have a give/get requirement of $5,000 annually, ensuring that together we can amplify our impact.

Options for participation (please come to the interview with ideas of which of these you may wish to execute).

-Participate in Giving Tuesday Campaign on social media with specific instructions

-Participate in our Holiday Giving Campaign with mailers/eblasts/follow-up

-Participate in our Corporate Sponsorship Prospecting program with other members of the board

-Attract audiences to our productions

-Make a direct donation

-Combination of the above
