Job Description

🔹 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with hands-on expertise in RISE with SAP to manage, support, and optimize SAP landscapes in cloud environments. The role involves system administration, migration, and performance tuning across SAP platforms.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
• Manage SAP environments under RISE with SAP (cloud-based infrastructure)
• Perform system installations, upgrades, patches, and refreshes
• Handle SAP HANA database administration (backup, recovery, performance tuning)
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Manage transports, client copies, and system landscape changes
• Support cloud migrations (on-premise to RISE/SAP Cloud)
• Work with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) in RISE environments
• Ensure system security, user administration, and compliance
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with SAP support

🔹 Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Basis administration
• Hands-on experience with SAP RISE with SAP
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and HANA DB
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Understanding of system monitoring tools (Solution Manager, Focused Run)
• Transport Management System (TMS) knowledge
• OS/DB knowledge (Linux, HANA)

🔹 Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP migrations to cloud (RISE or similar)
• Automation skills (scripts, DevOps exposure)
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and web dispatcher
• ITIL process understanding

🔹 Experience

• 12+ years in SAP Basis
• 1+ years or project experience in RISE with SAP

🔹 Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

🔹 Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving ability
• Good communication & client handling skills
• Ability to work in global/remote teams

🔹 Nice to Have

• SAP certifications (Basis / HANA / Cloud)
• Experience in managed cloud services
