What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Receive phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests
• Complete pre-registration of scheduled patients and ensure valid provider orders are obtained
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and manage patient inquiries
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling processes
• Assist in multitasking duties within a fast-paced office environment
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 1 year of previous Patient Scheduling or Patient Access experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes preferred
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy office setting
• Physical capability to perform sedentary work, including prolonged periods of sitting and exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally
