We are seeking a highly capable accounting professional to support the financial management of our multi-entity structure, bring discipline to cash flow planning, and assist in executing our acquisition strategy.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with deep Accounting expertise and a proven track record managing multiple entities. This role will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining strong internal controls, leading weekly cash management and forecasting, supporting mergers and acquisitions activity, and driving consolidated financial reporting across the organization.
This is a high-visibility role that reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, working closely with leadership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting across multiple legal entities
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) to begin with. Experience with Net Suire is a plus.
Own and drive weekly cash flow forecasting and planning
Monitor and optimize cash positions across entities and bank accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Lead consolidated financial reporting, including:
Multi-entity financial consolidation
Intercompany eliminations
Standardization of reporting across entities
Handle intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including:
Financial due diligence support
Quality of earnings and financial data organization
Integration of newly acquired entities into accounting systems
Post-acquisition financial reporting alignment
Partner with external CPAs and advisors for tax filings, audits, and transaction support
Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
Deliver timely financial insights and reporting to leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience, including multi-entity environments
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Net Suite)
Demonstrated experience with weekly cash management and forecasting
Strong experience with consolidated financial reporting
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Exposure to or experience supporting M&A transactions or integrations is highly preferred
Experience with intercompany transactions and consolidations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong Excel skills; financial modeling experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in construction, services, or project-based industries is a plus
