The Opportunity
We’re supporting a top-tier technology investment firm in hiring a Data Engineer to help build the core of a next‑generation, AI‑driven data platform. This role joins a small, high-impact team responsible for turning messy, fragmented data into clean, scalable systems that power investment insights and AI workflows. You’ll be central to building the pipelines, architecture, and infrastructure that enable advanced analytics across the business.
Engineering Environment You’ll work in a modern, cloud-native setup focused on AWS + Snowflake, end‑to‑end pipeline development, structured and unstructured data, AI‑assisted engineering, and integrating diverse internal and external datasets — all with high ownership and autonomy.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain scalable pipelines across multiple data sources
Organize and structure fragmented datasets
Design data models and architecture in Snowflake and AWS
Enable analytics and AI use cases through clean, reliable data systems
Integrate third‑party and alternative datasets
Support lightweight AI/agent workflows
Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
2–4+ years in data or analytics engineering
Strong SQL and Python
Experience running production pipelines
Familiarity with AWS and Snowflake
Solid data modeling and architecture fundamentals
Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
Nice to Have
Exposure to ML/feature pipelines
Experience with financial or alternative data
Startup or high‑growth background
