Position Title: Senior Director – Total Rewards


Position Details: Our client is a global technology innovator with deep expertise in designing highly efficient computing solutions. Their technology powers the next wave of intelligent, AI-driven, and increasingly autonomous experiences across a vast range of applications – from compact devices to large-scale computing environments. Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director, Total Rewards to lead the design, evolution, and delivery of their global reward portfolio. This role is pivotal in the shaping of how the company attracts, motivates, and retains world-class talent across multiple geographies. You will oversee the full spectrum of reward and benefits programs, lead a global team, and drive major transformation initiatives – including a ground-up review of our employee rewards framework and the centralization of the global benefits operating model.


This role is for a builder: someone who thrives in ambiguity, creates clarity, and can translate complex data into compelling narratives that influence senior leaders.

Key Accountabilities:

Global Reward Strategy & Design

  • Lead the development and execution of the organization-wide rewards and benefits strategy across all regions.
  • Oversee the full reward portfolio, ensuring competitive, equitable, and scalable programs.
  • Drive the review of the employee rewards framework to ensure it aligns to and enables their next phase of growth. This includes benchmarking, developing solutions, modeling, stakeholder alignment, and implementation.
  • Build and implement new rewards programs – and manage and evolve existing ones – ensuring they align with the company’s business strategy and culture.


Project & Change Leadership

  • Lead complex, cross-functional reward initiatives, including restructuring, M&A, organizational design changes, and global harmonization efforts.
  • Manage a project portfolio, deliver yourself, and through the team.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and implement plans for new reward initiatives.


Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, HR Business Partners, and business leaders.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and clear storytelling.
  • Navigate ambiguity and operate effectively.


Governance, Compliance & Operations

  • Ensure global reward programs comply with local regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR Operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient delivery of reward programs.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and evaluate opportunities for optimization.


Talent Market Intelligence

  • Lead global reward benchmarking, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with consultants and vendors to ensure the company’s reward programs remain competitive and aligned with market trends.



Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, or related fields
  • Deep expertise across the full reward and benefits portfolio
  • Proven experience designing, building, and implementing reward programs
  • Strategic thinker with a builder mindset
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and craft compelling narratives for senior audiences
  • Demonstrated success leading global teams and developing talent
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Extensive experience leading complex, multi-country reward projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in both consulting and in-house environments is highly valued.
  • Tech industry experience is highly desirable.
  • M&A integration experience is a plus.
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgement.
