The Opportunity
We are hiring a Senior Finance Manager to own day-to-day finance operations and deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis for a fast-growing business operating in multiple countries and currencies.
This role is designed for a senior, hands-on finance professional who wants real ownership and impact. You will be responsible for owning the day-to-day finance function and producing accurate, decision-ready financial information for company leadership. This includes managing QuickBooks Online, closing the books, building forecasts, analyzing cash flow, and translating financial data into clear reporting and presentation materials for management and board discussions.
This is an execution-first role. You will not be managing a team, you will serve as the single accountable owner of financial operations and reporting, working directly with the CEO and executive team to ensure the business has clean data, clear visibility, and reliable financial insight.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable working independently, improving processes, and taking ambiguous or incomplete inputs and turning them into structured, usable outputs.
Experience in media and entertainment, services, or technology-enabled businesses is strongly preferred, as the role requires comfort with project-based revenue, service margins, and forecasting in environments where revenue and timing can vary.
What You’ll Do
Finance Operations
Own QuickBooks Online accuracy and structure
Manage monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries
Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors
Ensure clean, reliable financial data
FP&A & Cash Analysis
Build and maintain budgets and forecasts
Perform variance analysis and performance tracking
Create cash flow forecasts and runway analysis
Develop scenario and sensitivity models
Management & Board Reporting
Prepare monthly financial reporting for leadership
Create board-ready financial decks and summaries
Present insights, trends, and risks clearly and concisely
Pricing & Business Modeling
Support pricing and margin analysis
Build forecasting and deal economics models
Analyze profitability by customer, product and service line
Capitalization & Accounting Treatment Analysis
Analyze CapEx vs OpEx treatment opportunities for major spend categories.
Model the financial and tax impact of capitalization versus expensing decisions.
Prepare recommendations to management on accounting treatment options that support EBITDA, cash flow, and long-term value creation.
Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors to validate and implement approved treatments.
About You
4-5+ years in finance, FP&A, or finance operations
Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience ideal
Proven ownership of monthly close
Advanced Excel and modeling skills
Pricing or margin analysis experience
Experience preparing executive or board materials
